Hello to everybody visiting this site, and specific hello to people who knew the site before !
It has been a long 4 years vacation for the project, but now it's back. For those who don't know what the site is about, here it is clear and simple :


We make music instrumentals fre for anyone to use. It is mainly hiphop oriented and was founded to help singers without tunes to express themselves. But we've also seen that video artists, and filmmakers are also very interested in the project. So now we continue the job !



What's news with this site ? well the previous one was lacking some "2.0" features. So the Antiblues crew came up with this CMS and the minimal features are here, we expect to expand them in the future. For now here is what people participating will be able to do :


- Create minimalistic but personalized artist page
- Upload your tracks in wav or flac format along with infos and it will be published right away
- Once published your tracks qill be automatically transcoded to mp3 for quick listen using a flash player
- Tracks rating !!! We will rely on visitor rating to determine the best tracks, it will make it easier to continue publishing the 10 tracks albums as we did before.
- Subscribe to RSS feed about the hiphop domain
- Subscribe to the Hiphop domain newsletter, that we hope to make either usefull OR interesting



Some fundamental changes also occured, and we have to let you know :


- All tracks of the hiphop domain are now published under the "CreativeCommons -By" licence. This is the most free licence on earth (like the software BSD licence). But as some tracks were published under the "LAL licence" (Free art licence), either their author will be ok to republish them under the CC -by, or the tracks won't be republished. It seems crual, but this project is about public domain music, and the Free art licence does not comply with the total freedom we want to give to people.
- Unfortunately, we have been unable to import the forum discussions from the older site. So we have to apologize to people who have posted there once. Though your posts are gone, your contact is still in the database, and we will try to contact you very soon to get you in touch with this new version.
- Registration is no longer required for posting on the forum
- Registration is not required to rate tracks, and we sure hope that simple visitors will take the time to rate our tracks. Not that it will creat competition, but it will help other visitor to find appreciated tracks.
- In fact Registration is only required If you wish to participate and upload music for everybody to enjoy, share, and use.



I think that's all that have to be said. Now it's time to fill the project with your sounds !
